“Video Log”  is non-linear documentation of vivid moments from my practice strung over the course of a year. Starting at the first crack of the new year and fading into the meditative swell of the ocean, the anachronistic home footage takes the form of a channel-flipping, storytelling, time capsule of the varied places I call home and studio through the year (New York, Los Angeles, Oakland, Chicago).

Kacie Lees is an interdisciplinary artist, curator, and professor working out of New York, Los Angeles, & Chicago. Lees’ vivid works underscore time and examine transitional spaces by synthesizing performance, sonics, color therapy, & video.
